Our Current Enclosure

We hope that this Bible brings you as many blessings as we have received by

sending it to you.  This has been provided to you because we believe that the

entire Bible is the word of God and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting

and training in righteousness so that those who desire to follow God may be

perfectly able to do so, (2 Timothy 3:16-17, page 577).

 

The Bible teaches us many things including that God is sovereign,

(Deuteronomy 4:39, page 89); that Jesus is God, (John 1:1, page 514);

that after coming to the earth as a man, Jesus died on a cross for our sins,

(I Corinthians 15:3, page 558); that after dying, Jesus was resurrected from

the dead, (Acts 5:30, page 530); and that he will one day soon judge all who

have ever lived and send those who have rejected him to hell and those who

have believed in him to heaven where they will live with him forever

(Matthew 25:31-46, page 483; Revelation 20:11-15, page 600).

 

The Bible also teaches us that all of us are sinners and cannot save ourselves

(Romans 3:23, page 547); but that the everlasting salvation mentioned above is available if we but accept Jesus and believe on his name

(John 1:12, page 514; Romans 10:9, page 550).

 

If you do not already know Jesus, we invite you to pray now and ask Jesus

to forgive you of your sins and to ask him to live in you (Romans 8:11, page 549)

so that you may live with him forever!

 

Reading the Bible

 

We suggest that you read the Bible the same way you would read any book-

from the beginning!  The Bible has a definite start and finish.  It starts with

the creation of everything and ends with the end of this world.  Some may

want to start with John’s Gospel,  page 514.  It tells the story of Jesus-

explaining his divinity, his ministry on earth, his death, resurrection and early appearances to his disciples after his resurrection.  However you chose to read

the Bible, the important thing for you to do is read the Bible!

 

If you are already a believer, Praise the Lord.  And whether you are now,

or become a believer shortly, please pray for this ministry.  We are currently

receiving no donations.  This ministry is a pure “tent making” ministry and we desperately want you to pray for us and this mission.

 

One final note; if you haven’t already, find a Bible believing evangelical church

for Christian fellowship, instruction and encouragement.  If the church doesn’t

accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God, it won’t be of much use to you for instruction.  And evangelical just means that they want to see people believe

in Jesus so that more might be saved.  There are many different Christian denominations stressing one thing over another.  But any pastor or church

that you may find should be able to agree with the above basic doctrinal

statements.  If in doubt, make an appointment with the pastor

and have a chat!
